Esta semana el trabajo será aplicar lo que sabemos de emociones y contestar un Quiz o bien hacer un pequeño cuento o poema usando algunas emociones. Ustedes pueden elegir. Para ello tendrán que buscar la definición de las emociones que aparecen y no conocen, aunque acá van algunas ya.
Hay tres emociones en el quiz que están expresadas en metáforas: At the end of her tether que significa al final de la amarra y que quiere decir que ya casi no tenia paciencia. Down in the dumps significa deprimido, allá abajo en los vertederos de basura y Over the moon que es sobre la luna, por lo tanto muy contento. Y les mando al final una lista de emociones con definiciones
La idea es que aprendamos a hacer frases justificando la emoción. Ej She was annoyed because her son failed a school test. Usamos "because" para decir porque, que es diferente a cuando preguntamos por qué? y usamos why.
Para expresar happiness en inglés:
- Happy – Feliz
- Glad – Contento
- Joyful – Alegre
- Interested – Interesado/a
- Proud – Orgulloso/a
- Powerful – Poderoso/a, influyente
- Optimistic – Entusiasta, optimista
Para expresar surprise en inglés:
- Surprised – Sorprendido/a
- Startled – Sorprendido/a
- Confused – Confundido/a
- Amazed – Alucinado/a
- Excited – Emocionado/a
Para expresar fear en inglés:
- Scared – Asustado
- Fearful – Miedoso, temeroso
- Frightened – Aterrado
- Alarmed – Alarmado, asustado
- Spooked – Asustado, espantado
- Anxious – Nervioso
Para expresar anger en inglés:
- Angry – Enfadado, enojado
- Annoyed – Molesto, irritado
- Mad – Enfadado, rabioso
- Aggressive – Agresivo, beligerante
- Furious– Furioso, colérico
